Kacie lends legal counsel to businesses during all stages of the corporate life cycle- from incorporating new or expanded business entities to drafting and negotiating buy-sell agreements, she works to add value to all of her client relationships. Kacie is also experienced in advising and drafting documents, including general contracts, assignments of interests, transfers of assets, operating agreements, partnership agreements, regulations, by-laws and much more.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Kacie advises clients on complex business transactions, including asset purchases, stock purchases, divestitures and reorganizations both in the U.S. and internationally. From initial due diligence to the final closing date, Kacie assists organizations of all sizes throughout the M&A process.
Intellectual Property
Kacie also works to identify and protect clients’ intangible IP assets. She assists clients in safeguarding their domestic and international trademarks, copyrights, confidentiality agreements and other IP assets. Additionally, she is experienced in issues regarding electronic media, including software and web development agreements.
Real Estate
Another aspect of Kacie’s practice is a focus on representation of buyers, sellers and lenders in all types of real estate transactions. She is experienced in the drafting and negotiating of title commitments, title reviews and other issues involved in the sale or purchase of commercial and residential real estate properties.
