Ralph represents clients in state in federal court, as well as private arbitration proceedings. In thirty years of practice, he has appeared in cases involving commercial disputes, antitrust claims, trademark infringement claims, employment issues, and shareholder disputes.
Health Care
Ralph represents health care providers, including doctors, pharmacists, drug distributors, and drug repackagers, in matters before numerous federal regulatory bodies, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, regulatory boards in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Florida, and more. He also represents pharmacies and durable medical equipment suppliers in Medicaid and other third-party payor audits, Medicaid fraud investigations, and administrative hearings. Ralph is experienced in representing doctors in negotiations with health service organizations, drug distributors in connection with drug pedigree regulations and other compliance issues, and a drug repackager instituting voluntary drug recalls.
Antitrust
A member of the Section Counsel of the Antitrust Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, Ralph counsels clients on antitrust issues, including distribution arrangements, pricing, and Hart Scott Rodino premerger notification. Ralph also assisted a German law firm in connection with a merger between two European companies with U.S. subsidiaries; he also represents clients in antitrust litigation.
