McGuire practices in the firm’s Litigation, Labor and Employee Relations and Health Care areas. For the last eleven years, a large portion of her litigation docket has been trial and appellate work representing The Ohio State University Medical Center in wrongful death, medical malpractice and labor and employment matters. In addition, Traci is also experienced in litigating disputes involving workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, property, personal injury claims, employment and labor issues and contractual and construction matters.
She has extensive experience in jury and bench trials, motion practice, written discovery, preparation of lay and expert witnesses for depositions, settlement negotiations, mediation and arbitration. She has appeared in federal and state trial courts and courts of appeal for motion hearings and oral arguments. Traci has also represented clients in numerous successful trials before the Ohio Court of Claims and Franklin County Common Pleas Court. She has been involved in the successful defense of multimillion dollar wrongful death and medical malpractice matters and successful resolution of such matters through mediation and in AAA arbitration.
