Sigmund Becomes First Attorney to Receive FSP’s Hall of Fame Honor

Chair of the firm’s Employee Benefits & ERISA practice, Tom Sigmund has been honored with the Society of Financial Service Professionals’ (FSP) Sam A. Chickerella CLU Hall of Fame Award. Sigmund recently complete his term as president of the organization’s Columbus chapter.

Sigmund is the first attorney in the society’s history to receive the honor. He was selected based on his outstanding service to the financial industry, the community and to Kegler Brown’s clients. Sigmund displays a commitment to high ethical standards and integrity, which was a primary criterion for the award.

The Columbus Chapter of the Society of FSP established the Hall of Fame Award in 1979 to honor those outstanding individuals in the financial services industry who have shown leadership and dedication to the insurance profession.

Sigmund has more than 30 years of experience practicing law and has been with Kegler Brown since 2008. He has been listed among the Best Lawyers in America for 14 years and has received the Martindale-Hubbell Rating of AV, which indicates very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the bar.
